Gummy Wyrms - plush and pins

heya! the smoke tests were sent a few days ago as i mentioned in the last post, and almost half of them are done! please check your email or backerkit pledges to see if you received one of the smoke tests!
i hope more are able to get done before tomorrow, but i do want to start sending surveys! please let me know if there are any problems with the survey in the comments or by emailing me at [email protected] !

there are still a number of failed payments, not including pay over time, so please double check your pledge and card info!
for pay over time, your surveys will be sent as soon as the last payment of your pledge is made! so dont worry if you dont see your survey when i send them all tomorrow!
any pledges that arent fully paid or failed payments wont have surveys sent until the pledge is fully paid!

for any of the survey stretch goal plushies (pink shark, 12 inch wyrms) i will be waiting until enough people add them to their pledges to order the samples, just to make sure they will be manufactured so i dont waste anyones time or money on something that doesnt end up made! but since theyre all the same pattern, it wouldnt take that much time to get those samples out when i get to ordering them!

for production, i already ordered one of the colors into production and will be ordering the other three sour wyrms colors for production very soon as well! i am still waiting on around $2.5k of pay over time and failed payments, (as a reminder from the last update!) i will have to wait a bit more to order the shark wyrms until i get more of those funds! for the survey stretch goal plushies, i will have to wait until i start charging cards near the end of the survey process to get the funds to make the orders for them!

the samples that i dont have in my hands yet (3 other sour wyrms and the shark wyrm) were just shipped out to me, so i should get cuter and better photos of all of them in around 8-10 days!

samples for those dragons are still on the way, as i am trying to perfect the first samples before moving ahead with the other samples, and theyre pretty complicated so its been taking a while!
but its going insanely well, and we are almost to the end of the stretch goals!

A slightly bad news update, but still a progress update!

So unfortunately my manufacturer has had a bit of a problem with their fabric production side of their factory, specifically the shortage of raw materials to keep up with fabric production. So the samples will be taking a little longer to finish than expected (since the spotted fabric is very specifically designed for me). But they are still working as they can on them! Here’s the embroidery progress I was sent!
So I still await the samples getting done to be able to send the surveys out!

I did finish the blanket designs and the pin designs though!

The blankets will be front and back printed, the gummy sharks will have two different designs on each side, while the regular wyrms will have the same design on both sides

I am still setting up surveys, but since I’m still waiting for the other samples to be done beforehand I’m not in a rush! My manufacturer just messaged me saying they’re back in the shop and plan to have these samples out within a week! <3

Remember to check if you have a failed payment! Just over $600 are failed payments! This doesn’t include the pay over time people dw!

Here is the current pinky shark that will be open for stretch goal unlocks in the survey! (They will be separate from the shark add on during the campaign)

As for the other items planned for the survey extra unlocks, I am showing the current progress! They’re just sketches at the moment but I still wanted to share the progress!

These two are the blanket designs! One regular wyrms and the other will be shark wyrms!

These will be both the matching acrylic pins for both of the shark wyrms! (Top will be pink, bottom will be blue)

my manufacturer said they will all be back at work this saturday, so they'll be on the other samples starting then!
i will try to get the survey out after the samples are done to make sure you guys can see them all before making your decision! i have confidence in my manu so I'm not worried about them looking any different from my artwork! (they've done so well so far, considering there's a limitation on fabric color!)

also just a thing i have noticed, guess this doesn't matter to much to you backers at the moment? but there were a lot of suspicious cancelled pledges that were all the same- pledging for one item and giving double amount in "extra support" then cancelling their pledge a few days later, usually all on the same day? it gets weird by driving up hope for funding goals just to rug pull nearly 1k in one day? i heard from another creator that there were issues with suspicious accounts doing that during pintopia this year so i suspect thats what happened here? i completely understand needing to cancel for any reason, no questions! Just these weird pledges just got me confused?? if any of you have other ideas or have noticed stuff like that yourself id love to hear what you have!
